The LSE Directory / CFD and forex brokers

ACY Securities is an Australia based, ASIC regulated online broker that lets retail and professional clients trade forex and CFDs across more than 2,200 instruments, including currency pairs, indices, commodities, share CFDs, ETFs, cryptocurrency CFDs and futures. Clients trade through MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, or LogixTrader, a proprietary no download web platform the company launched in August 2024 with features such as guaranteed stop loss orders without added slippage and dynamic tiered leverage. The broker positions itself around building its own trading technology rather than licensing third party white label systems, a distinction CEO Jimmy Ye has described as unusual among retail brokers because of the development cost involved; the in house platform work is carried out by sister company Zerologix. ACY offers tiered account types, from a commission free Standard account to raw spread, commission based ProZero and Bespoke accounts aimed at high volume traders, alongside MAM facilities for money managers. Client funds are held in segregated trust accounts with Australian banks, separate from the firm's operating capital. ACY Securities was founded in Sydney in 2011, originally as ACY Capital, by Jimmy Ye and Winson Cao. In September 2018 it acquired Australian brokerage Synergy Financial Markets (Synergy FX), and after a six month integration the combined business relaunched under the ACY Securities name in March 2019. The company is regulated in Australia by ASIC under AFSL 403863 and in South Africa by the FSCA under license 51008, with a separate offshore entity serving international clients outside those jurisdictions. It is privately held under parent group ACYLogix, whose other units include ACY Partners, ACY Advisory, ACY Connect and ACY Live. As of mid 2024, ACYLogix was targeting a public listing within two to three years, with Ye describing the group's planned Series A round as its first external capital raise since inception; the LogixTrader launch was framed publicly as a step toward that goal, alongside plans for native mobile apps and further AI integration into the platform's tools.
