The LSE Directory / CFD and forex brokers
FxPro is a multi-asset CFD broker that lets retail and institutional clients trade forex, shares, stock indices, metals, energies, futures, ETFs and cryptocurrencies as contracts for difference. Clients access more than 2,100 instruments through MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, cTrader, TradingView and FxPro's own web and mobile trading app, choosing between a Standard account with spread-only pricing or a Raw+ account with tighter raw spreads plus a commission. The firm differentiates on regulatory breadth and account-tier pricing rather than a single niche market. It operates through separately licensed entities, including FxPro UK Limited under the Financial Conduct Authority and FxPro Financial Services Limited under the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission, with further approval from South Africa's regulator (the Financial Services Board, since renamed the Financial Sector Conduct Authority) obtained in 2015, and it serves clients in more than 170 countries. In July 2026 it cut Raw+ spreads on Bitcoin, Ethereum and major index CFDs such as the Dow and Nasdaq 100 to zero while trimming Standard account spreads by close to 80 percent, pushing its raw-spread tier toward institutional-style pricing rather than the fixed-spread model typical of retail CFD brokers. The company traces to EuroOrient Securities and Financial Services Ltd, established in Cyprus in 2002, and became known as FxPro around 2006. It relocated its head office to London and gained FCA authorisation in 2010. It employs more than 300 people, added a Dubai office in April 2022 to serve the Middle East and North Africa, and invested $12 million in a Bahamas headquarters in 2021 that also houses an affiliated digital bank, BankPro. FxPro states it has executed more than 600 million orders and serviced over 11 million clients across more than 173 countries since inception. It attempted an IPO in 2015 that was postponed multiple times, and it has sponsored Formula 1 team McLaren Racing since 2018, after earlier Premier League shirt sponsorships with Aston Villa, Fulham and Watford. FxPro was named Broker of the Year at the UF Awards Global 2026, an industry award decided by open voting among brokers, affiliates, partners and traders, at a ceremony held on 17 June 2026 during iFX EXPO International; this was its second consecutive win in that category, following 2025.
