The LSE Directory / CFD and forex brokers

HYCM is the retail trading brand of Henyep Capital Markets Group, offering leveraged contracts for difference (CFDs) and spot forex trading through the MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 platforms plus its own HYCM Trader mobile app. Clients trade forex pairs, stock indices, commodities, individual equities, ETFs and cryptocurrency CFDs (crypto availability varies by jurisdiction) through a choice of three account tiers, Fixed, Classic and Raw, each with a different spread and commission structure and a minimum deposit starting around $100. Within the retail CFD and forex category, HYCM's differentiator is longevity and licensing breadth rather than a single flagship product: it operates as a group of separately licensed subsidiaries so it can onboard clients under whichever jurisdiction's regulatory regime applies to them, a structure common among larger multi-regulated brokers but less common among newer, single-entity CFD startups. It targets retail and professional forex and CFD traders internationally, competing on account-tier pricing choice (fixed spread versus variable spread versus raw spread plus commission) rather than on one flagship account. The HYCM brand traces back to Henyep Group, founded in Hong Kong in 1977 as Henyep Gold Dealers and an early member of the Hong Kong Gold and Silver Exchange Society, one of the world's oldest precious metals exchanges; the group later diversified into securities, wealth management and property. Henyep Investment UK launched the online HYCM trading platform in 2007. Its UK entity, Henyep Capital Markets (UK) Limited, is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority under firm reference number 186171. Its Cayman Islands entity, HYCM Ltd, is regulated by the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority under reference 1442313, and its Dubai entity, Henyep Capital Markets (DIFC) Limited, is regulated by the Dubai Financial Services Authority under license 000048. HYCM (Europe) Ltd held a Cyprus Investment Firm license from CySEC (259/14) from 2014, but voluntarily surrendered it, effective June 2024, and CySEC now lists the entity under former investment firms; HYCM stopped onboarding new EU-based clients and closed existing EU accounts as part of that exit. As of mid-2026 its licensed footprint for new clients runs through its FCA (UK), CIMA (Cayman Islands) and DFSA (Dubai) entities rather than an EU one.
