TMGM (TradeMax Global Markets) is a Sydney-based online broker offering leveraged trading in contracts for difference and spot forex across seven asset classes, forex, indices, commodities, shares, ETFs, cryptocurrencies and futures, spanning more than 15,000 individual instruments. Clients trade through MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5 or the firm's own TMGM app, choosing between a commission-free Classic account with spreads from around 1.0 pip and a raw-spread Edge account priced from 0.0 pips plus a per-side commission reported at $3.5; the minimum deposit is $50 and Islamic swap-free accounts are available. The company runs an ECN/STP execution model rather than a dealing-desk one, routing client orders to external liquidity instead of warehousing them in house, and it layers social and copy trading on top through an integration with the HUBx/ZuluTrade network. It holds retail licenses across five jurisdictions: the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (AFSL 436416), the Vanuatu Financial Services Commission, the Financial Markets Authority of New Zealand, Kenya's Capital Markets Authority (license 219) and the Financial Services Commission of Mauritius (license GB22201012), which lets it offer differentiated leverage, reported as high as 1:1000 on some entities, depending on which regulated entity a client is onboarded under. Client funds are held in segregated trust accounts at National Australia Bank, and the group carries civil liability insurance with a $10 million limit. TMGM traces to TradeMax, founded in Sydney in 2013, which rebranded to TMGM (TradeMax Global Markets) on 10 September 2020 as it pushed to position itself as a global operator rather than a regional one; then CEO Lee Yu said the new name let the firm "offer our platform even wider than before" while keeping personalized account management for clients. Company data aggregator Tracxn credits Steven Yang as co-founder, lists Lee Yu still in the CEO role as of mid-2026, and put headcount at roughly 650 as of May 2026. The broker has reported monthly trading volume growing from about $90 billion in mid-2020 to a stated record of $195 billion in July 2021, and says it has taken no external venture funding, running instead on trading revenue. TMGM has built a sports and esports sponsorship portfolio to raise brand awareness in the Asia-Pacific and North American markets. It has been the Australian Open's Official Online Trading Platform since 2021, became Chelsea Football Club's official regional forex and CFD trading partner for Asia-Pacific in 2023 (extended to back-of-shirt branding for Chelsea's men's team in the 2026 FA Cup fifth round against Wrexham), signed a multi-year Brooklyn Nets partnership in July 2025 covering in-arena and digital signage at Barclays Center from the 2025-26 NBA season, and in 2026 became the official global CFD partner of esports organization OG for its Dota 2 and Counter-Strike 2 teams.
