The LSE Directory / CFD and forex brokers

VT Markets is an online multi-asset broker offering contracts for difference (CFDs) across forex, indices, commodities, individual shares, ETFs, bonds and cryptocurrencies, with more than 1,000 tradable instruments in total. Clients trade through MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, an integrated TradingView charting layer, a proprietary VT Markets mobile app, and the VTrade copy-trading platform, choosing between Standard STP, Raw ECN, Cent and Islamic swap-free account types, plus PAMM and MAM structures for money managers. The broker competes in the crowded multi-asset CFD category on execution technology and account flexibility rather than as a single-asset specialist. It runs commission-free STP pricing alongside raw-spread ECN accounts, layers in Trading Central research and VPS cost reimbursement for algorithmic traders, and operates through several regionally licensed entities rather than one head-office jurisdiction: VT Markets (Pty) Ltd is authorised by South Africa's Financial Sector Conduct Authority under license 50865, an affiliated entity holds a Mauritius Financial Services Commission license, other group entities carry oversight from Australia's ASIC and the UAE's Securities and Commodities Authority, and an offshore entity is registered in St Vincent and the Grenadines. The broker has also been a member of The Financial Commission, an independent dispute-resolution body, since January 2024. VT Markets was founded in 2015 and is headquartered in Sydney, Australia. It was launched as a brand of Vantage Global Prime Pty Ltd, part of the Vantage group of companies, the same corporate family behind the separately branded Vantage FX broker. Trade press reporting puts its monthly trading volume at about $720 billion in April 2025, described at the time as the firm's strongest month on record, rising to roughly $1.2 trillion in October 2025. A 2026 company update cited 135 percent year-on-year headcount growth to roughly 10 offices worldwide, including newer hubs in Dubai and Mexico, more than 32 industry awards in 2025, and a 4.3-star Trustpilot rating built on over 1,500 five-star reviews. In 2024 VT Markets entered sports sponsorship for the first time, partnering with FIA Formula E team Maserati MSG Racing before signing a multi-year deal with Premier League club Newcastle United as the club's official financial trading partner, a partnership that won "Best Global Football Sponsor" at the 2026 Forex Sports Awards. It also relaunched its VT Academy education arm in 2025 with more than 40 courses across five languages and published a 2026 Global Market Outlook report in January 2026.
