Windsor Brokers is a forex and CFD broker headquartered in Limassol, Cyprus, founded in 1988. It offers trading on more than 250 instruments spanning forex, indices, commodities, shares, ETFs, treasuries, energies, metals and cryptocurrency CFDs, executed through MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, a web platform and an in-house mobile app. Rather than operating as one regulated company, the Windsor brand covers several separately licensed group entities: Windsor Brokers International Ltd in Seychelles (FSA), Windsor Global Markets Ltd in the British Virgin Islands (FSC), Windsor Markets (Kenya) Limited (CMA), and Seldon Investments Limited in Jordan (JSC), alongside a Cyprus entity regulated by CySEC under license 030/04. Its positioning rests on jurisdictional breadth and longevity rather than a narrow execution or asset-class niche. It was one of the first investment firms in Cyprus, licensed by the Central Bank of Cyprus before CySEC existed, then moved to CySEC authorization in 2004. Instead of relying on a single EU passport, it built dedicated regional entities for the Middle East and East Africa, and today explicitly separates its EU-regulated business from its rest-of-world offering, which serves clients outside the USA and EEA. Its retail offer, leveraged CFD trading through MT4/MT5, copy trading, and a self-built mobile app, is broadly similar to other multi-jurisdiction CFD brokers; the differentiation is tenure and geographic reach rather than a distinct product. The company was founded by Nicolas Abuaitah in 1988 as a small, family-run firm serving mostly Middle Eastern clients; it began offering online trading in 2001 and added the MetaTrader 4 platform in 2006. His son, Johny (Hanna) Abuaitah, has been CEO since 2014 and led a 2018 rebrand marking the firm's 30th anniversary, reported at the time by the trade publication LeapRate. The group's own website carries a memorial page for Nicolas Abuaitah, indicating he has since died. The company states it serves more than 4 million registered clients worldwide and reports its mobile app has been downloaded over 650,000 times; these figures are self-reported and not independently audited. Its Cyprus entity has separately held UK FCA authorization (firm reference number 463727), and the FCA has published a consumer warning about a "clone firm" using a similar name on a different domain to impersonate the genuine, authorised Windsor Brokers entity. As of 2026, the group's Cyprus, CySEC-licensed entity trades under the name WB Trade EU Ltd for EU-domiciled clients only, passported via Germany's BaFin and France's ACPR, while the windsorbrokers.com brand, operated by WIT IT Solutions Ltd, continues to serve clients outside the USA and EEA through the Seychelles, BVI, Kenya and Jordan licensed entities described above.
