ZuluTrade | CFD broker Profile

Broker-agnostic copy-trading platform where investors auto-mirror trades from ranked forex, crypto and CFD strategy providers.

The LSE Directory / CFD and forex brokers

ZuluTrade is a broker-agnostic social and copy trading platform that lets retail investors automatically replicate the trades of independent strategy providers, known on the platform as "Leaders," across forex, commodities, cryptocurrencies, indices and stocks traded as CFDs. Rather than acting as a broker itself, it connects to a user's account at a supported or partner broker, including MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 setups, and mirrors a Leader's trades in real time, scaled to the investor's own position sizing and risk settings. The platform specialises in ranking and scoring Leaders by realised performance, drawdown and other risk metrics, giving investors a searchable track-record database to choose from instead of requiring them to build their own strategies. Its main differentiator against rival copy-trading services is scale and broker neutrality: rather than tying users to one in-house broker, ZuluTrade positions itself as the largest broker-agnostic social trading network, and layers account-level controls such as its ZuluGuard risk-management tool on top of whichever partner broker actually holds the investor's funds. ZuluTrade was founded in 2007 in Virginia, US, by Leon Yohai, initially alongside Kosta Eleftheriou, who left the company in 2008; the original product connected to FXCM's trading API to let users copy one another's trades, and the company later moved its operating base to Athens, Greece. It holds an EU portfolio management license from Greece's Hellenic Capital Markets Commission (license No. 2/540/17.2.2010), obtained in 2015, and has since pursued licensing in the United States (from 2020) and Mauritius (from 2023). In December 2021, ZuluTrade was acquired by Finvasia Group in a deal that also included sister brokerage AAAFx, which holds its own HCMC portfolio management license; Tajinder Singh Virk was named interim CEO of ZuluTrade in April 2022. At the time of the Finvasia acquisition, the company stated it had served over a million investors across more than 100 countries and executed in excess of USD 2 trillion in cumulative trades since launch. Under Finvasia ownership, ZuluTrade continues to operate as a standalone brand within the group's wider fintech portfolio, marketing itself as "The Social Intelligence Platform" and reporting activity across more than 150 countries on its current website, while extending its original forex-only coverage to include cryptocurrency and stock CFDs and continuing to build out its mobile apps.
