The LSE Directory / Charting platforms
ATAS (Advanced Trading Analytical Software) is a Windows desktop trading and market analytics platform built around order flow analysis. Its core tools are footprint and cluster charts that break volume down inside individual bars, a volume profile and heatmap module, a reconstructed time and sales feed called Smart Tape, and a depth of market visualization tool called Smart DOM. Traders connect their own brokerage, exchange or market data accounts; the platform lists more than 25 integrations spanning CME, CBOT, NYMEX, NYSE, Nasdaq, Binance, Bybit and OKX among others, and users can both study order flow and route live orders for execution from inside the same workspace. The software also includes 240-plus indicators, 400-plus footprint chart variations, and a Market Replay module for backtesting against historical tick data. ATAS positions itself strictly as analytics and execution software rather than a broker, exchange or data vendor; it states plainly that it does not provide investment services. Its differentiation within the charting-platform category is the depth of order-flow tooling bundled at one subscription price, footprint clustering, Smart Tape reconstruction and DOM analytics that on many competing platforms are sold as separate add-ons. It plugs into third-party data feeds and futures commission merchants instead of running its own venue; Interactive Brokers became an available connection in 2014, and futures brokers such as Dorman Trading list ATAS among the trading platforms they offer clients. The product targets active and professional futures, equities and cryptocurrency traders studying execution and liquidity rather than casual buy-and-hold investors, and pricing runs from a free Start tier with delayed futures data and capped assets up through Plus, Pro and Ultra monthly subscriptions, plus lifetime license options. The company traces its product to an order-flow tracking algorithm its founders built while trading on Chicago exchanges, on the idea of following major participants directly in the time and sales tape. It began as a non-commercial project, released its first product (an enhanced time and sales tape) in 2010, and moved to a paid commercial model around 2012. ATAS Ltd is headquartered in Riga, Latvia, and has not raised external funding. As of mid-2026 the company reports more than 360,000 users across 159 countries and, per third-party company data, employed roughly 68 people. In 2025 the company extended its integrations to the Hong Kong Exchange and Kraken, and was running a macOS build in alpha testing, a notable step for a platform that had been Windows-only since its 2010 launch.
