Bookmap | Charting platform Profile

Renders the full live limit order book as a real-time liquidity heatmap for futures, equities and crypto order-flow traders.

The LSE Directory / Charting platforms

Bookmap is a market microstructure visualisation and trading platform built around a liquidity heatmap that plots the entire live limit order book, not just the top of book, updating at up to 40 frames per second. Alongside the heatmap it shows executed volume bubbles, a full depth-of-market ladder, and order flow tools for spotting absorption, exhaustion and momentum shifts. The platform ships as a desktop application, with a newer browser-based version at web.bookmap.com, and connects to markets through data providers including Rithmic, dxFeed and its own BookmapData feed, covering CME futures, Nasdaq TotalView equities and major crypto exchanges. What distinguishes Bookmap from standard DOM or ladder tools is its focus on visualising historical and live order book depth as a picture rather than a scrolling number grid, paired with a set of proprietary detection indicators: a Stops and Icebergs Tracker for hidden orders, Tradermap Pro for filtering out market-maker bot activity, DOM Pro for combined depth and execution-flow analysis, and Market Pulse for flagging large trades and sweeps. Its customer base is active discretionary futures, equities and crypto traders and proprietary trading desks who trade order flow and microstructure directly, rather than longer-horizon investors. Bookmap also offers a free Java and Python add-on API, open even to users on its free tier, for building custom indicators and automated strategies, plus a developer add-on marketplace, an open-platform approach that differs from closed, vendor-only charting tools in the same category. Bookmap Ltd is registered in Limassol, Cyprus. It was founded by Tsachi Galanos, its founder and CEO, who previously co-founded and ran algorithmic trading firm VeloxPro from 2007 until 2015 before starting Bookmap. In November 2024, Brazilian trading-software company Nelogica, Latin America's largest investment-technology provider with roughly 4 million users across its Profit, BlackArrow and Vector platforms, acquired a majority stake in Bookmap, describing it as Nelogica's largest international investment to date. At the time of the deal Bookmap reported around 300,000 users across the United States, Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East, with annual growth reported above 30%. Since the Nelogica transaction, Bookmap has continued to operate under its own brand and product line, with the acquisition framed publicly as funding further international expansion of the platform. It maintains a public developer API repository (BookmapAPI on GitHub) and continues to build out data connectivity and its web-based client alongside the established desktop platform.
