The LSE Directory / Charting platforms
Investing.com is a financial markets media and data portal operated by Fusion Media Ltd, headquartered at The Riverside Forum in Nicosia, Cyprus. The core product is free and advertising supported: real time quotes and interactive charts across more than 180,000 instruments on roughly 250 exchanges, an economic calendar, an earnings calendar, stock and fund screeners, a currency converter, portfolio tracking tools, and aggregated financial news, available in around 33 languages through regional editions. iOS and Android apps have been downloaded roughly 130 million times. Its point of differentiation from other charting and quote portals is the layered paid tier on top of the free site, InvestingPro, launched in 2022. InvestingPro adds AI generated stock picks (ProPicks), Fair Value estimates, curated financial metrics, a stock screener, and, more recently, AI features including an AI research assistant (WarrenAI) and AI chart analysis. The company reports more than 300,000 active paying subscribers to the InvestingPro suite. In 2023 it acquired StreetInsider.com, a Michigan based provider of hedge fund level breaking news and rumor feeds, and folded StreetInsider's premium news services (Hot List, Rumors, Trader Talk, Momentum Movers, Trading Halts) into the InvestingPro product, aimed at giving retail investors news feeds previously reserved for institutional desks. The company was founded in 2007 under the name Forexpros by Israeli entrepreneur Dror Efrat and Russian entrepreneur Lonny Szneiberg along with two other co-founders, initially offering forex analysis, a broker directory and a discussion forum. In late 2012 it rebranded to Investing.com after acquiring the domain for 2.45 million dollars, broadening from a forex only focus to cover stocks, commodities, indices, cryptocurrencies, bonds, funds, ETFs, futures and options. In 2021, Hong Kong based investment firm Joffre Capital acquired the company for a reported 500 million dollars, with Joffre's Ding'an Fei becoming chairman. As of its own reporting the site draws roughly 46 million monthly unique users and about 3 billion monthly pageviews, with a workforce of some 250 people spread across offices including Nicosia, Madrid and Shenzhen. In April 2026, Investing.com acquired Stonki, an agentic AI investing assistant startup founded in 2025 by Ulas Bilgenoglu and Itay Verkh, whose technology continuously monitors markets against user defined strategies rather than answering one off prompts. The company framed the deal as building on WarrenAI, its AI research assistant launched the prior year that it says had been used by close to 3 million people over the preceding twelve months, as part of a broader push to make agentic AI tools a central part of the InvestingPro product line.
