ProRealTime is a French provider of charting and technical analysis software for trading financial markets, distributed as a browser based application (ProRealTime Web), a desktop application (ProRealTime Complete) and a mobile app. The software covers stocks, futures, indices, forex, cryptocurrencies, commodities, bonds and options, with more than 100 built in technical indicators, multi screen charting, a market scanning tool called ProScreener, strategy backtesting and optimisation through ProBacktest, and rule based automated order execution through ProOrder. Custom indicators, scans and strategies are written in ProBuilder, the company's own BASIC style scripting language. The platform is aimed at both beginner and experienced traders across styles ranging from long term investing to day trading and scalping, and it is broker independent: ProRealTime supplies the charting, screening and strategy layer, while live order execution is routed through partner brokers, currently Interactive Brokers, Saxo Bank and IG. Alongside the charting software, the company also operates ProRealTime Trading, a separate regulated arm approved and supervised in France by the Prudential Supervision and Resolution Authority (ACPR) and by the Autorite des Marches Financiers (AMF), giving users a regulated path from chart to executed order under the same brand. This combination of free analytical software with an in house regulated brokerage layer sets it apart from standalone charting tools that carry no execution business, and from broker platforms that build charting as a secondary feature. ProRealTime SAS was founded in 2001 and is headquartered in Rueil Malmaison, France. The company states it has more than one million users worldwide, that its charting platform provides data and analysis on more than 1.9 million financial instruments, and that its brokerage arm offers live execution on more than 400,000 of them through its partner brokers, processing up to roughly 100,000 live orders a day. It has been named "Best Trading Platform" by the German comparison site brokervergleich.com for multiple consecutive years running into 2025, and "Best Platform for Investing" by rankia.com in the same year.
