The LSE Directory / Charting platforms

TC2000 is a desktop, web, and mobile charting and technical analysis platform for US equities and options, made by Worden Brothers, Inc. of Wilmington, North Carolina. The core product lets users build customisable charts with technical indicators and drawing tools, maintain watchlists, set price and indicator alerts, and run its EasyScan engine to screen the US stock and options universe against fundamental and technical criteria in real time. A built in paper trading simulator lets new users practice strategies without a funded account, and every subscription includes a real time US stocks feed from the NYSE, Amex, and Nasdaq via Nasdaq Basic. What sets TC2000 apart from most charting-only competitors is that it operates its own affiliated broker dealer, TC2000 Brokerage, Inc., a FINRA and SIPC member firm (FINRA firm number 155523), so subscribers can place stock and options trades directly from the chart rather than routing through a separate connected broker. The software and brokerage are run as two distinct entities under the same parent, TC2000 Software Company for platform and data subscriptions and TC2000 Brokerage for execution and custody. Pricing is tiered (Basic, Premium, and Premium Plus subscription plans as of this writing), with optional add on real time feeds for US indexes, US options, and a consolidated tape, and alert capacity scaling from 100 on the lower tiers up to 1,000 on Premium Plus. The company traces to 1988, when brothers Chris and Peter Worden founded what became Worden Brothers, Inc.; younger brother Jon joined a few years later. Their first product, TeleChart, was named after their father's earlier software, and its successor TeleChart 2000 (later shortened to TC2000) was among the first retail platforms to stream real time stock data over the internet under license agreements with the exchanges. The business operated out of Chapel Hill and later Fort Lauderdale before relocating to Wilmington, North Carolina in 2008, where it remains headquartered. TC2000 has repeatedly been voted Best Stock Analysis Software by Stocks and Commodities Magazine's reader survey over a run of consecutive years. Peter Worden has continued to author daily market commentary and indicator lessons distributed to the platform's subscriber base. TC2000 positions itself for active individual US equity and options traders and long term investors who want charting, screening, and execution in one product rather than stitching together a separate charting tool and brokerage account, distinguishing it from pure charting/scanner software (which requires a third party broker connection) and from full service brokers that lack TC2000's depth of technical screening.
