The LSE Directory / Charting platforms

TradeStation is a US brokerage and trading technology company whose core product is a suite of charting and trade-execution platforms, desktop, web and mobile, aimed at active, self-directed traders. Its signature feature is EasyLanguage, a proprietary scripting language that lets traders build, backtest and automate their own indicators and trading strategies without needing a general-purpose programming background. Clients can trade stocks, ETFs, options, futures and futures options through the platform, and TradeStation Securities, Inc. acts as the broker of record, meaning the charting tools are tied directly to a self-clearing brokerage rather than sold as standalone software. Within the charting and analysis category, TradeStation differentiates itself through the depth of its strategy-automation tooling rather than breadth of asset coverage. RadarScreen, launched in 1999, is a real-time, EasyLanguage-powered market scanner exclusive to the platform, and the flagship desktop application allows users to code and run their own custom applications and indicators. Its most recent platform generation, TITAN X, is built specifically for multi-leg options and futures traders, with strategy-level position grouping, a redesigned options chain for spread trading, and pre-trade margin and risk analytics; it is delivered through TradeStation's unified HUB account and trading layer across desktop and web. The company traces back to 1982, when it was founded as Omega Research by brothers William and Rafael Cruz; it released System Writer in 1987 and introduced EasyLanguage soon after, with the flagship TradeStation platform launching in 1991 and OptionStation following in 1996. TradeStation Group listed on Nasdaq in 1997 under the ticker TRAD and was acquired in 2011 by Japan's Monex Group, becoming a wholly owned subsidiary; that ownership structure is unchanged today. TradeStation Securities is a self-clearing, direct-market-access broker-dealer and futures commission merchant, registered with the SEC and CFTC and a member of FINRA, NYSE and NFA, with customer securities covered by SIPC up to 500,000 dollars. The firm was named the number one Innovation broker in the 2026 StockBrokers.com Online Broker Review and Broker of the Year in the 2025 TradingView Broker Awards. In January 2026, TradeStation Securities released an MCP (Model Context Protocol) connection, built by its affiliate TradeStation Technologies, that lets eligible customers link their trading accounts to third-party AI assistants and interact with market data, positions and order entry in natural language. The initial release works with Anthropic's Claude, requires an active Claude Pro subscription purchased separately from Anthropic and a minimum account balance, and still requires explicit user confirmation before any order is placed. TradeStation states it is not affiliated with Anthropic and provides no support for the AI platform's functionality itself.
