Turns congressional trades, insider filings, lobbying spend and government contracts into a retail dashboard and paid API.

The LSE Directory / Data providers

Quiver Quantitative is a financial-research platform that aggregates non-traditional, publicly disclosed datasets and republishes them as searchable dashboards, a downloadable Python package and a paid REST API. Its core datasets track U.S. politicians' personal stock trades (from House and Senate periodic transaction reports), corporate insider transactions, federal lobbying disclosures, government contract awards, 13F institutional and hedge-fund holdings, ETF holdings, executive compensation, U.S. patents, and secondary signals such as app-store ratings, corporate flight-tracking and social-media sentiment; the site's live news feed continuously posts individual lobbying-disclosure and trading items as they are filed. The company positions itself as closing the gap between the paid alternative-data feeds hedge funds have long bought and what individual retail traders can access. Its free tier exposes the raw datasets; a premium subscription, priced around 25 US dollars a month, layers on backtesting tools, a strategy screener, watchlists and real-time alerts. It also distributes data through the Quiver API and a "quiverquant" Python package aimed at developers building automated or algorithmic strategies, and it appears as a connected research app inside at least one retail brokerage's platform marketplace, Tradier. Quiver Quantitative was founded in 2020 by twin brothers James and Christopher Kardatzke, who built the platform around the time they were finishing their studies at the University of Wisconsin rather than taking Wall Street jobs. The product launched in February 2020 and, per contemporary press coverage, had grown to more than 10,000 registered accounts and about 200,000 monthly visitors within its first several months, with early traction driven largely by organic sharing on Reddit of its congressional-trading dashboard. The company has raised outside seed funding led by Allos Ventures, according to Crunchbase. Its data has been cited by CNBC, Bloomberg, Reuters, the Financial Times and the Washington Post, per the company's own site. As of mid-2026 the platform remains active at quiverquant.com, continuing to publish dozens of alternative datasets in real time and expanding its API with new endpoints for systematic traders and developers.
