Dan Ushman (Daniel L. Ushman) is the founder and CEO of TrendSpider, a technical analysis and trading-automation platform he launched in 2016. A technology entrepreneur since 2001 and an active trader since 2008, he previously co-founded and served as Chief Marketing Officer of SingleHop, a cloud infrastructure company that was acquired in 2018. Drawing on his experience automating repetitive IT tasks at SingleHop, he built TrendSpider to bring similar automation, scanning, and alerting capabilities to retail traders and investors. He is based in the Chicago area and has since founded additional ventures, including SignalStack and Niche Theory Holdings.
