Edward "Ed" Croft is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Stockopedia, a London-based online research platform that provides stock screening, valuation and rating tools for individual investors. An Oxford Scholar who read Chemistry at the University of Oxford, he later worked as a wealth manager at Goldman Sachs and for a private family office before co-founding Stockopedia with David Brickell, drawing on an extensive review of academic research on stock market anomalies and investor behavior. He created the StockRanks system, a proprietary quantitative rating framework used across the platform, and holds the CFA charter. Croft is a regular columnist, keynote speaker at UK investment conferences, and author of several books on stock market investing.
