Jan Happel is the co-founder and CEO of Glassnode, a digital asset data and analytics company headquartered in Zug, Switzerland, that provides on-chain market intelligence, indicators, and datasets on Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other blockchains for traders, analysts, and institutional investors. He co-founded the company in 2018 alongside Yann Allemann and Rafael Schultze-Kraft after working as private crypto investors; Happel and Allemann have long published joint market commentary on X under the shared pseudonym "Negentropic." He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and has since co-founded related ventures including Swissblock Technologies and ACCOINTING.com.
