Martin "Marty" Franchi is the Chief Executive Officer of NinjaTrader, a retail futures trading platform and brokerage headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. He joined the company in 2014 as Chief Financial Officer following NinjaTrader's acquisition of Mirus Futures, was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in October 2017, and became CEO in September 2018. Franchi holds a B.S. in Finance from Illinois State University (2001) and earlier worked in finance and accounting roles at Kraft Foods and at 7ticks, a market-data and connectivity firm later acquired by Interactive Data. Under his leadership NinjaTrader expanded its brokerage and platform business, introduced retail-focused micro and nano futures products, and in 2025 was acquired by crypto exchange Kraken for $1.5 billion while continuing to operate as a standalone platform with Franchi remaining CEO.
