Michael Babushkin is a Russian technology entrepreneur who founded Devexperts in 2002, building it from a small St. Petersburg-based development shop into a major software provider for exchanges, brokerages and investment firms, with dxFeed emerging as its dedicated market-data brand serving buy- and sell-side institutions worldwide. Before founding Devexperts, he was CTO of Erimex Ltd., a Russian systems-integration house, and earlier VP of R&D at New York-based Octet Media LLC. He holds an MSc in Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science from ITMO University in Saint Petersburg and an MBA from the Stockholm School of Economics. Babushkin served as CEO of Devexperts from 2010 until October 2024, when he stepped down in favor of Ben Hurley while remaining actively involved with the company; Devexperts and dxFeed are headquartered in Munich, Germany, where Babushkin is based.
