Nikolay Storonsky is a Russian-British entrepreneur who co-founded Revolut in 2015 with Vlad Yatsenko, originally as a prepaid travel card with real exchange rates. Revolut has grown into Europe's most valuable private fintech company, valued at approximately $45 billion in 2024, with over 45 million customers across banking, payments, trading, crypto and insurance products. Storonsky previously worked as an equities trader at Credit Suisse and Lehman Brothers.
