Rishi Singh is the founder and CEO of Tiingo, a financial data and analytics platform he established in 2014 and headquartered in New York City. Before founding Tiingo, he worked at the National Institutes of Health, where he co-founded CHARMMing, an open-source computational chemistry tool, and later traded exotic equity derivatives and treasuries at Citigroup before becoming the first employee at quantitative hedge fund AlphaParity, building its trading models and technical infrastructure. He studied Echols Interdisciplinary: Quantitative Modeling at the University of Virginia. At Tiingo, Singh has focused on providing clean, affordable financial data and analytics to both institutional and retail clients, positioning the company as a bridge between free consumer tools like Yahoo Finance and expensive institutional terminals like Bloomberg.
