Rob Koyfman is the co-founder and CEO of Koyfin, a financial data and investment research platform he launched in 2016 to give retail and professional investors Bloomberg-style analytics without the terminal's cost. Born in Chernivtsi, Ukraine, he emigrated to the United States at age seven and later earned a BS in Finance and Mathematics from Rutgers University; he is also a CFA charterholder. Before founding Koyfin, he worked in equity research at Goldman Sachs, in proprietary trading in London, as head of Macro and Thematic Trading Strategy at Citigroup, and as a strategist at Caxton Associates, Lyxor Asset Management, and Tekne Capital. He is based in the United States, where Koyfin is headquartered.
