Thomas Elnick is an American entrepreneur who co-founded Tegus in October 2015 together with his brother Michael Elnick, serving as co-CEO and building it into a research platform used by more than 30,000 public and private market institutional investors, investment banks, consultants, and corporations. Before founding Tegus, he worked as an analyst at Overbrook Management and Ranieri Real Estate Partners. He holds a BA in Economics from Brown University. Tegus was acquired by AlphaSense for $930 million in 2024, after which Elnick became a Partner at Bancroft Capital Partners and an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where he lives with his wife and two children.
