Yoni Assia is an Israeli entrepreneur who co-founded eToro in 2007 with his brother Ronen Assia and David Ring. eToro pioneered social and copy trading, allowing retail investors to automatically replicate the trades of successful traders. The platform has 35 million registered users globally across stocks, ETFs, crypto and CFDs. eToro has been pursuing a US IPO and is headquartered in Tel Aviv.
