The LSE Directory / Fundamental data

TIKR (branded as TIKR Terminal) is a web based equity research platform built for individual investors. It gives subscribers access to company fundamentals, standardised financial statements, valuation multiples and ratios, Wall Street analyst estimates, earnings call transcripts, SEC and international filings, and ownership data (13F style institutional and insider holdings) across a stated universe of more than 100,000 stocks spanning roughly 92 countries and 136 exchanges. The core financial dataset is licensed from S&P Global Capital IQ, the same institutional source used by tools such as Bloomberg and FactSet, and is supplemented with data from other vendors for transcripts, estimates and news. TIKR positions itself explicitly as a low cost alternative to a professional terminal rather than a trading platform, it does not execute trades or manage money. Its differentiation is price and workflow rather than data exclusivity, a Bloomberg Terminal subscription runs into the tens of thousands of dollars a year, while TIKR's own pricing page lists a free U.S. only tier with five years of history, then paid Plus, Pro and Ultimate tiers, listed at roughly $17.95, $37.95 and $119.95 a month, that add global coverage, up to 30 years of financial history, full transcript search with audio and slides, multi year analyst forecasts, and a database covering more than 10,000 funds and other investors for tracking hedge fund and insider ownership. The target user is the serious retail or semi professional investor, including, per its own marketing, former buy side and sell side analysts, rather than institutional trading desks. TIKR was founded by Sahil Khetpal and Bobby Sankhagowit. Company materials describe Sahil as a former Wall Street hedge fund analyst who partnered with Bobby after concluding that individual investors were stuck piecing together data from scattered free sources while institutions paid for integrated, institutional grade terminals. The company is headquartered in Houston, Texas, and was in public beta by October 2020 according to contemporaneous trade press coverage. TIKR states on its own site that it serves more than 500,000 investors worldwide, and third party company data trackers list Inventum Ventures among its investors.
