The LSE Directory / Fundamental data

Wisesheets is a Toronto based fintech that delivers financial and market data through a spreadsheet add-on for Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets. Investors type custom functions, among them WISE, WISEPRICE, WISEFUNDS and WISEOPTIONS, directly into spreadsheet cells to pull company fundamentals (income statement, balance sheet and cash flow line items), current and historical prices, dividend history, analyst estimates, ETF and mutual fund data, and options chain data including implied volatility and the Greeks, all without an API key or a separate application. The product is aimed at self directed retail investors, independent analysts and small portfolio managers who want data depth closer to a professional terminal than a typical brokerage app provides, at a fraction of the cost; annual plans are priced from roughly five to ten US dollars a month, versus the four and five figure annual licenses charged by institutional terminal and data-API providers. Coverage runs to more than 50,000 tickers across more than 50 global exchanges, spanning equities, ETFs, funds, options, forex, crypto and commodities, with up to about two decades of annual and quarterly financial statement history available through the same formulas. A separate feature, Wisesheets Investments, aggregates real brokerage holdings by connecting to more than 30 brokerages, including Fidelity, Charles Schwab and Robinhood, through the SnapTrade integration, for portfolio tracking and tax-ready exports. The company was founded by CEO Guillermo Valles together with co-founders Sheldon Coates and Jacob Chambers; Valles, a Schulich School of Business finance graduate, has said the product grew out of his earlier work as a commercial real estate analyst at a large Canadian REIT, where he found himself spending more time gathering data than analysing it. Ontario corporate registry filings list Wisesheets Inc. with a fourth director, Yannick Rault, and a Toronto registered address. As of its most recent public figures (March 2026), the company states it has more than 70,000 users in over 40 countries, processing more than 370 million data requests a month, and that it is used by professionals at more than 1,000 firms; its website displays logos including BlackRock, Morgan Stanley, Vanguard, Deloitte and PwC alongside that claim, which reflects individual professional users rather than confirmed enterprise contracts with those firms. In March 2026 Wisesheets added real time options chain data, covering strikes, bid/ask spreads, volume, open interest, implied volatility and the full Greek set, to its spreadsheet functions, which it markets as the only spreadsheet based tool offering full options coverage for under ten US dollars a month.
