Moore Capital Management is a global macro investment firm founded in March 1989 by Louis Bacon, headquartered in New York with offices in London and Hong Kong. Historically one of the most prominent discretionary macro hedge funds, it began returning outside investor capital starting in 2019-2020 and consolidated its funds into vehicles that primarily manage Bacon's own capital, shifting the firm's model toward a private investment office. Bacon remains founder, chairman and principal investment manager.
