Audacity Capital, the trading name of AudaCity Global LTD (also doing business historically as AudaCity Capital Management), is a London based proprietary trading firm founded in 2012 that gives retail traders access to funded accounts rather than requiring them to risk their own capital. Traders apply through one of the firm's programs: the two step "Ability Challenge" or the more restrictive "Ability One" evaluation, or the "FTP" instant funding route that skips a profit target test altogether. Account sizes on offer run from 5,000 dollars up to 200,000 dollars, with scaling plans the firm markets as able to grow a trader's allocation toward 2 million dollars over time. Supported instruments are forex, indices, commodities and precious metals, traded through MetaTrader 5 or, since a July 2025 platform licensing deal with Devexperts, DXtrade. Within the funded trading, or proprietary trading challenge, category, Audacity Capital positions itself on flexibility rather than strict rules: it advertises no trading consistency requirement across its programs, permits news trading and automated expert advisors on all accounts, and offers same day payouts to qualifying traders with profit splits advertised up to 90 percent in the trader's favour. Its target customer is the retail trader worldwide rather than an institutional or professional client base; the firm backs this with free instructional content through an in house "Trader University." Regulatory status is a material differentiator from a broker holding client funds: Audacity operates under an International Brokerage and Clearing House Licence (L15850/WL) issued by the Union of Comoros to AudaCity Global LTD, with a UK office at 25 Cabot Square in London's Canary Wharf, a Dubai payment facilitator entity (AudaCity International FZCO) and a Cyprus partner entity (Propmetry Limited); it is not a UK FCA authorised firm. The company was founded in London in March 2012 by Karim Yousfi, an ex institutional trader who left a bank role to start the firm and has served as CEO since 2018 after an earlier stint as the firm's Chief Global Strategist. Audacity Capital's own marketing states it has paid out in the region of 250 million dollars to funded traders (a small number of the firm's own pages cite a higher, unreconciled figure closer to 500 million dollars) across a stated 140 plus countries. In July 2025 the firm announced, via a GlobeNewswire press release and trade press coverage including FinanceFeeds and LiquidityFinder, that it had licensed the DXtrade multi asset platform from Devexperts to sit alongside its existing MetaTrader 5 offering, adding a built in trading journal, performance dashboard and configurable risk management tools for its funded traders. Most recently the firm has continued to expand platform choice and promotional funded account pricing (discounted entry fees on its Ability Challenge accounts) as competition among prop trading challenge providers has intensified industry wide through 2025 and into 2026.
