Funded Trading Plus (FT+) is a proprietary trading firm, commonly called a prop firm, that sells traders access to funded accounts through a paid evaluation. Customers buy a challenge and attempt to hit a profit target on a simulated account while staying inside set daily and maximum drawdown limits; those who pass move to a funded account and are paid a share of the profits the account generates, drawn from FT+'s own balance sheet rather than from real market gains, since all accounts, including funded ones, trade in a simulated environment with no client money placed in live markets. FT+ runs three evaluation paths, a 1-Step challenge, a 2-Step challenge, and an Instant Funding option with no evaluation phase, on accounts from $5,000 up to $200,000 that can scale to $2.5 million, traded through MetaTrader 5, cTrader, Match-Trader or DXtrade. The firm competes mainly on payout terms. It advertises a profit split starting at 80% for the trader and rising to 100% once cumulative profit milestones are reached, with payouts processed on a 7 to 10 day cycle and released within 24 to 48 hours, faster than the monthly cycles common at older prop firms. Tradable instruments span forex, commodities, indices and cryptocurrency; the firm says it operates in more than 165 countries, though independent review sources differ on whether US residents are eligible, so that detail should not be taken as settled. Support runs through live chat and a Discord server the firm states has more than 50,000 members. FT+ was founded in 2021: UK Companies House records show its operating entity, FTP London Ltd (company number 13719292, registered office 7 Bell Yard, London), had its directors appointed on 2 November 2021, matching the founding date the firm gives publicly. The directors are Simon Massey and James Frangleton; Massey, FT+'s CEO, previously spent around a decade in emergency services before moving into trading, and co-founded Trade Room Plus, a UK live trading room and mentoring service dating to 2013, which FT+ describes as its predecessor business. FT+ is not FCA regulated, which independent reviewers note is standard for this category since no client funds touch live markets. Its own homepage copy claims more than $19.5 million paid out in trader rewards, and independent review sites put its Trustpilot rating in the mid 4 out of 5 range from roughly 2,600 reviews as of mid 2026.
