The LSE Directory / Prop firms
FundingPips is a proprietary trading firm headquartered in the IFZA Business Park, Dubai Silicon Oasis, United Arab Emirates. It sells trading evaluations rather than acting as a broker: a customer pays a one-time fee to attempt a simulated trading challenge on a demo account, and if they pass the firm's drawdown and consistency rules they are allocated a funded account (still simulated capital) and paid a share of the profits they generate. Funded account sizes range from 5,000 to 100,000 dollars at entry, with scaling paths the firm advertises up to 2 million dollars, and profit splits advertised between 80 and 100 percent depending on the program. The firm runs three evaluation tracks: a Two-Step and Two-Step Pro Evaluation (80 percent profit share), a One-Step Evaluation (up to 100 percent), and Zero, an instant-funded track that skips the evaluation phase for a higher one-time fee, pays a 95 percent split on a bi-weekly cycle, and applies a tighter risk envelope (a 15 percent single-day consistency cap and a 5 percent trailing drawdown limit versus looser limits on the standard tracks). It supports MetaTrader 5, cTrader, Match-Trader and TradeLocker; it dropped MT5 in February 2024 after MetaQuotes restricted white-label access for prop firms serving evaluation models, ran on the other three platforms for roughly 13 months, then reinstated MT5 after buying a direct MetaQuotes license that excludes serving US and Canadian clients. The company is operated by two related legal entities: ANKH PROP FZCO, registered in Dubai, UAE (registration 19948, registered 25 August 2022) and, until mid-2026, FundingPips Corp / Funding Pips Services Ltd, registered in Mwali (Comoros) under the Mwali International Services Authority (license BFX2024004). It is led by CEO Khaled Ayesh, a trader originally from Amman, Jordan, who studied finance at SRH Hochschule Berlin before founding the company. FundingPips was publicly announced via a company press release on 9 February 2023 under the philosophy "built by traders for traders." Independent counts put its Trustpilot volume at roughly 53,000 reviews with a 4.5 out of 5 rating as of mid-2026, the largest review count of any forex/CFD prop firm tracked by industry review sites, and reporting in mid-2026 cited cumulative trader rewards paid in excess of 250 million dollars. In June 2026, FundingPips Ltd obtained an SEC-2.1B Investment Dealer (Full Service Dealer excluding Underwriting) license from the Mauritius Financial Services Commission, joining a broader wave of prop-trading firms relocating their regulatory base from Comoros to Mauritius; Comoros-issued licenses from bodies such as the Mwali International Services Authority have been publicly disputed by the Banque Centrale des Comores, which has said those island-level authorities lack standing to license financial firms. Like other firms in this category, FundingPips is not a regulated broker or asset manager for the funded-account activity itself, since traders operate on simulated capital rather than the firm's or their own live brokerage funds.
