MyFundedFX was a US based proprietary trading, or trader evaluation, firm that sold paid "challenge" accounts to retail forex and CFD traders. Participants traded a simulated account against profit targets and drawdown limits; those who passed received a funded simulated account and kept a share of the profits they generated, with the firm never risking real client capital in the traditional asset management sense. The legal entity was MyFunded Solutions, LLC, headquartered in Dallas, Texas. The firm differentiated itself from MetaTrader-centric rivals by running its challenges primarily on cTrader, DXtrade and Match-Trader, adding MetaTrader 5 access intermittently after MetaQuotes restricted prop firm use of its platforms in 2023 to 2024, through broker partners that reportedly included Zenfinex, Purple Trading Seychelles and Quality FX. It offered one step, two step and three step evaluation formats, account sizes reported up to $300,000, and scaling plans that could grow a trader's simulated capital toward $1.5 million, with profit splits marketed as high as roughly 92 percent in some program tiers. As an evaluation services firm rather than a licensed broker, it did not operate under a securities or brokerage regulatory license. MyFundedFX was incorporated in June 2022 and was led by CEO Matthew Leech. Third party company data cited by Latka put 2025 annualised revenue at roughly $63.5 million with about 155 employees as of September 2025, reportedly without external funding, indicating the firm scaled to a sizeable evaluation business within about three years of launch. In February 2025, the company rebranded as SeacrestFunded and launched an affiliated, FSCA licensed South African CFD brokerage, Seacrest Markets, ending new account onboarding for US based customers in the process. Under a year later, on February 4, 2026, the company told traders it was closing its proprietary trading and evaluation business entirely, shutting all challenge and funded accounts by February 6, 2026 and taking final payout and refund requests through February 28, 2026, to focus solely on its CFD brokerage. As a result, the MyFundedFX evaluation product no longer operates under any name as of mid 2026; its former domain, myfundedfx.com, now redirects to Seacrest Markets' brokerage site.
