Amy Wu Silverman is a managing director and Head of Derivatives Strategy at RBC Capital Markets, where she provides option-based thematic ideas and bespoke derivatives research to the firm's global institutional and structured-products clients. A 20-plus-year Wall Street strategist, she previously held cross-asset and derivatives research and trading roles at Goldman Sachs, Citadel Investment Group and Morgan Stanley, and is a frequent commentator on CNBC, Bloomberg TV, BNN and in the Wall Street Journal on skew, tail pricing and volatility. She holds a B.A. with honors in economics and financial engineering from Princeton University, received the 2016 Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business Award, and serves on the boards of Storefront Academy Harlem and Sigma Worldwide. Originally from Utah, she is based in New York.
