Brooke Thackray is a Toronto-based research analyst and one of the best-known public teachers of seasonal investing, a technical approach that trades recurring calendar-based patterns in stocks, sectors and indices. He founded alphaMountain Investments in 2004, publishes the long-running annual "Thackray's Investor's Guide" series (following his 1999 book "Time In, Time Out," co-written with Bruce Lindsay) and a subscriber newsletter, and has served since 2009 as the research analyst behind the Global X Seasonal Rotation ETF (HAC), advising on its seasonal sector-rotation strategy.
