Javier Blas is a Spanish journalist based in London who writes about energy and commodities as an opinion columnist at Bloomberg, having previously served as Bloomberg's chief energy correspondent and, before that, as commodities editor at the Financial Times, where he founded the FT Commodities Global Summit and the FT Africa Summit.
