Raoul Pal (born February 1968 in Burnham, UK) is a British former hedge fund manager who co-headed European hedge fund sales in equities and equity derivatives at Goldman Sachs and co-managed the GLG Global Macro Fund before retiring from managing client capital at 36. In 2005 he founded Global Macro Investor, an institutional macro research service, and in 2014 he co-founded Real Vision, a financial media platform he leads as CEO; he also co-founded Exponential Age Asset Management in 2024 and publishes The Exponentialist research service. His content centers on business-cycle and global-liquidity frameworks and his "Exponential Age" thesis on technology and digital assets, delivered through Real Vision, his YouTube channel and podcast "Raoul Pal: The Journey Man," and social media; his book "The Everything Code" is slated for release in October 2026. By his own account his videos and podcasts have drawn over 100 million views and he has more than 2 million social media followers; he has invested in crypto since 2012 and says he wrote the first macro valuation research on Bitcoin in 2013.
