Shaun McDonogh is a UK-based quant developer and the founder ("Chief Wizard") of Crypto Wizards, a quant trading education and tooling platform whose flagship product is ZSCORE, a statistical arbitrage scanner for cointegrated pairs across crypto, forex, and US stocks. He says he has been developing trading algorithms in crypto markets since 2017, previously managed TE Connectivity's Analytics Centre of Excellence, and describes himself as a Lead Blockchain Quant Developer working in Rust, Python, and TypeScript. He teaches through his YouTube channel Crypto Wizards (26.8k subscribers, 255 videos as of July 2026) and 11 Udemy courses with roughly 49,000 students, covering statistical arbitrage bots, triangular arbitrage, flash loan execution, machine learning for trading, and Rust AI tooling. He spoke at Blockchain World Summit London in 2018 and led a dYdX Grants community webinar on building automated trading bots.
