Trader Dale is the pen name of a full-time trader and educator who has taught retail traders how to read institutional order flow through Volume Profile since launching Trader-Dale.com in 2016. He is the author of "Volume Profile: The Insider's Guide to Trading," which he states has sold over 60,000 copies and been downloaded more than 260,000 times from his site, and he has built proprietary Volume Profile, Order Flow, and VWAP indicators for NinjaTrader, MetaTrader 4, and TradingView. His teaching centers on combining price action with Volume Profile to identify where large institutions have built positions, rather than relying on conventional lagging indicators. Prior to trading full-time, he says he worked as a market analyst at a major brokerage and holds self-reported certifications as a portfolio manager, investment manager, and in financial derivatives; he maintains an active YouTube channel, Twitter/X presence, and a paid video course built around his Volume Profile methodology.
